Hello. How are you guys today? I hope things are going great for you. I am sorry for the delayed post. I have recently started a new "project" and it is keeping me very busy. (At this time, I am not sure how much information I want to share, so "project" it will be) This "project" has given me a very different outlook on life, it deals with a lot of life and death, sudden decisions, and questioning myself. There is a new challenge everyday, but as of now I am enjoying it. I do hate getting up early in the morning, but I will survive. The hours are not as bas as I had expected, so there is always a silver lining.
I have not done anything new since I blogged last time, I have not had the chance to try any new recipes, or do it yourself projects. I do hope to pick those up sooner rather than later, but only time will tell. I had hoped to make a cute little easter wreath, but was not able to find something that was adorable (and awesome) for the amount of time I wanted to put in. (Maybe just a 2 days worth) If anyone has any ideas, send them my way. I would love to try it out! I might even blog about it.
Today, I was thinking I would tell you a little bit about myself and my immediate family. First off, I am an only child, currently living at home with my parents, while I finish up school, and let me tell you what a huge adjustment that has been. We get along very well for the most part, but of course there are melt downs, some from my Mom, Dad or both (double wammy!!!). Everyday is a new day and we take it as such. That is the bad, now let me tell you some awesome things about my parents.
My mom is a wonderful cook, selfless person who is always trying to make my life (or anyone for that matter) better. She does worry quiet a bit, but is also fun and silly at times. She is willing to try anything if I push her a little bit, and almost always enjoys herself (minus the collards experiment). She works full time, and works full time at home. I do not know how she does it. I am constantly amazed. She loves talking on the phone, watching television, and playing games online. She likes instant gratification (like me), and expects you to do things when asked. No lag time allowed!
My dad is a huge "do it yourself" kind of guy. He loves to garden (I recently learned I like this as well); what you might ask? Anything and everything, we have tried it all. As of right now we have tons of fruit: blueberries, blackberries, pears, plums, peaches, figs, and pineapple (yes, you did read that right!) He also plants a vegetable garden with whatever his heart desires, or whatever he happens to see at the local Lowe's store or farmers market. He also works full time, but does little housework or cooking, and that suits him just fine. He does have a short temper but forgives/forgets quickly!
Well I guess that is enough for now, I will try to keep up as much as possible, but please forgive me if I get behind!
