Happy Bridal Shower Cousin N!!!!

In January, (I know I know, I got behind on blogging)  I flew out to Columbus, OH to celebrate my younger cousin who is getting married in April!  There was a lot of last minute planning due to her deciding about 10 days beforehand but it all worked out beautifully!  Bhabhi S & I both flew out, as well as two of her other friends!  Her other friends already lived in Columbus, so that worked out perfectly!

Surprisingly, all of the flights lined up together and we all arrived around 1:30pm, and of course we were starved!  So, first we went straight to lunch.  An adorable little restaurant that served mexican food.  It was so delicious!

Afterwards, we went back to Neha's apartment to unload the car, and charge our phones up.  Then we headed back out in the freezing weather, it was SNOWING, to see the Bruce Munro light show at the Franklin Park conservatory in Columbus.  It was a very interesting to see how creative people can be! Most of the pictures involve LED lights, and plastic bottles!

Afterwards, we went out to a delicious Italian restaurant (can't not think of any of the names)!  Everyone's dishes were awesome, we all enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere!

Then on Saturday, we had a packed day! Our first event was brunch at Cambridge Tea house in Columbus, OH.  A lot of Cousin N friends from the area came out, and it was very enjoyable.  The food was ok, I feel maybe they were having an off day or something, but our company was awesome!

The Group!

Bhabhi S and I drinking out tea out of mugs!  (Yes we were perplexed as well)

After we finished with tea, we headed back to Cousin N's friends hotel room (try saying that 10 times fast :), and relaxed and hung out with them.  Then we headed back to Cousin N's apt to change clothes.  We were doing a Wine and Paint class that evening!

After wine and paint, we all were starving, because had not really eaten a proper meal all day.  So we went to this amazing little restaurant, and they had some of the best sushi I have had in a while.  Very different flavors, and just super delicious! I know that seems weird to say but Sushi is def hard to come by in amazing flavors when you are vegetarian, so it was refreshing!!  The lettuces wraps were also fabulous, and one other entree we did (which I can't think of right now)

The sushi place had a little ritual, and you wrote on these little construction paper cards to say whatever you wanted too, and then you posted it to the wall! Here is Cousin N's! Sorry it isn't more readable, that was the best picture!

On sunday, we all grabbed a quick brunch before most of us left for our flights back to our own states!  One of my second favorite meals of the weekend--Frittata with mushroom/spinach, with a home made biscuit, and delicious hash brown potatoes! Also I discovered that I really love hot apple cider!

Here is to you, cousin N, may you and Brother-in-law K have 75+ years together!  Love you both very much!
