Mendhi (Henna) is typically one of the first things applied during a big occasion (i.e. weddings, baby showers, and sometimes just for fun) in Indian culture. It is intricate detail that is applied to the hands and feet typically in the form of a liquid paste, that dries and leaves a temporary color.
